Chris Rearick and his son, Ryan, were spending the weekend hunting pheasants. They both were in sight of each other, each wearing the required orange uniform, and both lined to fire at a pheasant. Ryan’s dad prepared to fire, but he takes a wrong step and looses his balance. His gun fires and the bullet hits his son in the back of the head.
He is transported to Creighton Medical Center in Omaha, where he is expected to be okay.
