Mayor Jim Suttle announced at a press conference today that Omaha’s Civic Auditorium will be closing June 30, 2014. The City is looking to create a purchasing package to present to developers, which will include the 10-acre plot. It is still unclear if the building will be torn-down or let up to a future buyer.
